While strolling through blogland today, I found a post about a beautiful wedding in my favorite place in the world, Wilmington, NC. The photos were captured and posted by Whitebox Weddings. The couple was married at the Chapel at Orton Plantation, which was the filming location of "Ya Ya Sisterhood," "A Walk to Rememerb," & my all-time favorite TV show, "One Tree Hill." My family & I visited there this past fall and it is an absolute GORGEOUS place for a wedding. The reception was held in the picturesque Historic Downtown Wilmington. Take a look at the photos & I promise you'll fall in love with Wilmington too!

NYC Engagement Photos
I came across this amazing engagement photo session from Whitebox Weddings. Their photos, they call a "Loveshoot," were taken in the West Village in New York City. The photos caught my eye because they remind me of the movie, "You've Got Mail," {one of my favorites}! Look how cute these two are!

We {heart} Valentine's Day Weddings
{beautiful image of love by Amanda Wilcher}
What better day to declare your love to your soul mate than on the most romantic day of the year...that's right, Valentine's Day, February 14th, the day of L.O.V.E!!! So, in the spirit of St. Valentine, we found some beautiful images to inspire a chic, romantic Valentine's Day wedding.
According to favors.com, "for colors, you might have more dignified reds and whites, with gold embroidery & white overlays. Believe it or not, even a black and white wedding with red roses is pitch perfect for Valentine's Day.
Check out this cool photo cake!

Your food will probably reflect Winter's formality too, a white chocolate cake with raspberry filling or red-velvet cake surrounded with rich cream-cheese frosting. Plus, the date sends up a green light for brides who dream of marrying in a daring red gown.
A second, more vintage color choice for Valentine's day is a soft pale pink. Bouquets can be filled with flirtier pink roses or peonies, cream tulips, and hydrangeas. For dessert, you may dispense with the cake altogether, treating your guests to whimsical cupcake trays.
We keep the Valentine's theme going with ideas from The Bride's Cafe. They posted two romantic inspirational color boards , designed by the beautiful and talented, Sheila Donahue. The first is a lovely combination of pale pinks, while the second combines vibrant reds.
I love this cute CD favor!
